Reiki FAQs

What is Reiki Therapy?

Reiki therapy is a complimentary holistic therapy that involves working with universal energy to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. The goal is to balance energy, remove blockages, and enhance the body's natural healing processes. Reiki induces the relaxation system, bringing the client to a state of peace and allowing the body to heal itself

What happens during Reiki therapy?

You will have a brief consultation before lying on the treatment table.  Therapies can be carried out seated if neccessary. You will remain fully clothed.  Your practitioner will connect to reiki energy before placing their hands on your shoulders to connect to your energy. Your practitioner will move around you with their hands in your auric field and may work with advanced healing techniques as required. Once your session is over, you will be given some water to drink and have time to discuss any findings.

How many Reikil therapy sessions will I need?

This varys from person to person depending on the issue they wish to work on. Some people attend weekly sessions while experiencing a difficult period in life. Others drop in occasionally for some relaxation time. You can discuss the frequency of your sessions with your practitioner.

Medical Advice.

Reiki therapy works alongside medical advice. It does not replace the advice of a doctor or other medical practitioner. Always follow your medical practitioners advice.
